Die Medien konnten nicht geladen werden. Der Versand war top. Der Messerblock sieht auf dem ersten Blick ebenfalls top aus. Jedoch fallen bei genauerer Betrachtung 2,3 Kleinigkeiten auf. 1. Wie im Video zu sehen kippelt der Messerblock. Die Schrauben der Halterung sind schräg verschraubt. Das Kippeln liegt jedoch an der Verarbeitung des Blockes. 2. Wie in den Bildern zu sehen sind die Messer teilweise nicht gleichmäßig geschliffen. Die Schärfe ist ausreichend. Frage mich nur für wie lange. 3. Die Griffe der Messer sind sehr leicht und wirken daher nicht besonders hochwertig. Ich nehme an, dass sich die Messer schnell aus dem Griff lösen können. Das ist aber noch abzuwarten. Ich habe den Messern dennoch 3 Sterne gegeben, da sie grundsätzlich scharf sind und das Design mich überzeugt. Ich werde den Messerblock wohl behalten, da er für den Sommer im Außenbereich genutzt wird. Will man etwas Qualitatives sollte man sich einen anderen Block suchen, wobei ich annahm, dass man bei Klarstein eine etwas bessere Qualität vorfindet.

As can be seen in the video, the knife block wobbles. The screws on the holder are screwed on at an angle. However, the wobbling is due to the processing of the block. 2. As can be seen in the pictures, some of the knives are not evenly ground. They are sharp enough. I just wonder for how long. 3. The handles of the knives are very light and therefore do not appear particularly high-quality. I assume that the knives can quickly come loose from the handle. But that remains to be seen. I gave the knives 3 stars anyway because they are generally sharp and the design convinces me. I will probably keep the knife block because it will be used outdoors in the summer. If you want something of quality, you should look for a different block, although I assumed that Klarstein would have slightly better quality.

Handle is made out of plastic so I guess you could detatch/brake it from the blade if you press really hard enough, but for the money is to be expected. The wood box came with small scratches either from transport or manufacturing. Anyway, it looks good, for the money is quite decent so I give full stars. Also works good as a gift.

Die Messer sind nur was für Leute, die sie nach dem benutzen von Hand abwaschen wollen. Bei mir bekam das erste Messer nach einem Durchgang im Geschirrspüler direkt eine hässliche Verfärbung (ca. 2cm) an der Spitze und Flecken auf der Klinge. Ansonsten machen der Messerblock optisch was her und die Messer sind soweit scharf und vielfältig einsetzbar.

The knives are only for people who want to wash them by hand after use. After putting the first knife in the dishwasher, it got an ugly discoloration (approx. 2cm) on the tip and stains on the blade. Otherwise, the knife block looks good and the knives are sharp and can be used in a variety of ways.

Seit 4 Jahren in Dauergebrauch. Messer nach wie vor scharf. Qualitativ etwas besser geht es natürlich noch aber für den Preis bekommt man hier das Maximum an Qualität. Absolut begeistert.

Prinzipiell ist der Messerblock okay. Er sieht gut aus und die Messer sind scharf. Leider hat der Standfuß eine scharfe Kante, so das ein Schaden auf der Arbeitsplatte entstanden ist. Das ist sehr ärgerlich.

Mit dem Kauf dieses Messer-Set macht man nichts falsch. Der Preis ist angemessen, der Block sieht gut aus und die Messer sind dem Preis entsprechend solide! Man bekommt keine Spitzenmesser aber wenn man dies möchte befindet man sich auch in einer anderen Preisliga!

You can't go wrong with buying this knife set. The price is reasonable, the block looks good and the knives are solid for the price! You don't get top-quality knives but if you want them, you're in a different price league!

Der Klarstein Kitano Messerblock beinhaltet 8 individuelle Messer für jeden Verwendungszweck. Er macht einen sehr soliden und edlen Eindruck und ich auch die Schärfe der Messer ist sehr beeindruckend. Da ich meine Messer selber Schärfe, erwarte ich von einem Messer eine gewisse Schärfe und Haltbarkeit und beides erfüllen die Messer vom Kitano Messerblock. Egal ob Fleisch, Brot oder Gemüse, die Messer schneiden schön und einfach ein. Ein Punkt Abzug bei der Ergonomie, da mir die Griffe zu leicht sind. Diese sind anscheinend aus hohlem Kunststoff gefertigt, was leider nicht meinem Geschmack entspricht und die Balance zwischen Klinge und Griff ziemlich stört. Die Klingen sind verhältnismäßig zu anderen Küchenmessern dünn, was beim Schneiden, meiner Meinung nach, nur Vorteile bringt. Ich bin mit dem Klarstein Kitano Messerblock voll und ganz zufrieden und würde ihn auch als tolles Geschenk in Betracht ziehen.

The Klarstein Kitano knife block contains 8 individual knives for every purpose. It makes a very solid and classy impression and I am also very impressed by the sharpness of the knives. Since I sharpen my own knives, I expect a certain level of sharpness and durability from a knife and the knives in the Kitano knife block meet both requirements. Regardless of whether it is meat, bread or vegetables, the knives cut nicely and easily. One point deducted for ergonomics, as the handles are too light for me. These are apparently made of hollow plastic, which unfortunately is not to my taste and really disturbs the balance between blade and handle. The blades are relatively thin compared to other kitchen knives, which in my opinion only brings advantages when cutting. I am completely satisfied with the Klarstein Kitano knife block and would also consider it as a great gift.

Das Messerset ist toll. Es hat die Zubereitung des Abendessens viel einfacher gemacht. Die Edelstahlklingen sind sehr scharf und schneiden mühelos durch Gemüse, Fleisch und Brot. Der Stahl sieht extrem dauerhaft und robust aus. Meiner Meinung nach werden die Messer für immer scharf sein. Auch der Block ist von sehr guter Qualität. Die Farbe ist angenehm und sehr warm, und der Block sehr stabil. Das Herausziehen eines Messers und das Wiedereinsetzen ist sehr einfach. Ich bin nicht der größte Fan des kleinen Plastikstücks oben auf dem Block. Es schützt zwar das Holz vor den scharfen Klingen, was auf Dauer viel Verschleiß ersparen würde. Das Set ist wirklich gut durchdacht und langlebig. Das japanische Design ist unverkennbar. Ich benutze die Messer beim Kochen sehr gerne und fühle mich wie ein professioneller Koch. Es gibt auch ein Messer für jeden Einsatz. Bester Preis für diese Qualität.

The knife set is great. It made dinner prep a lot easier. The stainless steel blades are very sharp and cut through vegetables, meat and bread with ease. The steel looks extremely durable and sturdy. In my opinion, the knives will be sharp forever. The block is also very good quality. The color is pleasant and very warm, and the block is very sturdy. Pulling a knife out and putting it back in is very easy. I'm not the biggest fan of the little plastic piece on top of the block. It does protect the wood from the sharp blades, which would save a lot of wear and tear in the long run. The set is really well thought out and durable. The Japanese design is unmistakable. I really enjoy using the knives when cooking and feel like a professional chef. There is also a knife for every use. Best price for this quality.

Ich bin kein Profi und koche auch nicht extrem viel. Das hat such allerdings geändert, seit ich diesen Messerblock besitze. Es macht viel mehr Spaß! Von Anfang an: Das Paket kam an. Und leider muss man sagen, dass es sehr viel verpackungsmüll gab. Messerblockkarton in Karton in Umkarton. Dazwischen Füllmaterial. Als ich alles ausgepackt hatte, habe ich leider auch diese kleine Macke (wie auf dem Bild zu sehen) feststellen müssen. (Definitiv nicht beim Auspacken passiert.) Habe dem Verkäufer geschrieben, sollte mich dann aber an Amazon wenden, was mir irgendwie zu kompliziert war, also habe ich es so hingenommen. Die Macke ist ohnehin eher an der Hinterseite. Die Messer sind wirklich super scharf (Ich kann mur von meinen Empfindungen sprechen. Hatte nie vergleichbare Messer) und das schneiden damit, macht super Spaß, da es fast von allein geht. Sie sind stabil und sehen gut aus. Nach einigen Wochen habe ich an einem Messer (welches ich oft benutze) allerdings leicht Rost? bemerkt. Ganz leicht,stellenweise. Und das obwohl ich die Messer nach dem benutzen abwasche und abtrockne. Ich bin gespannt wie lange sie noch halten und werde berichtet. Für den "kleinen" Koch Zuhause würde ich das Set auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Für Leute die viel Kochen ist das vielleicht weniger etwas und ich würde mich eher an den gängigen Marken orientieren .

I'm not a professional and I don't cook a lot. But that has changed since I got this knife block. It's a lot more fun! From the beginning: The package arrived. And unfortunately, I have to say that there was a lot of packaging waste. Knife block box in box in outer box. Filling material in between. When I had unpacked everything, I unfortunately also noticed this small flaw (as shown in the picture). (Definitely didn't happen when unpacking.) I wrote to the seller, but was then told to contact Amazon, which was somehow too complicated for me, so I accepted it. The flaw is more on the back anyway. The knives are really super sharp (I can only speak from my own feelings. I've never had comparable knives) and cutting with them is great fun because it almost happens automatically. They are sturdy and look good. After a few weeks, however, I noticed slight rust on one knife (which I use often). Very slight, in places. And that's despite the fact that I wash and dry the knives after use. I'm excited to see how long they last and will report back. I would definitely recommend the set for the "little" cook at home. For people who cook a lot, it might not be so good and I would stick to the more common brands.
